"KATES" is a Polish partnership registered by Jacek Bulski and Jan Grabiński on 11 february 1991. The aim of the established company was to produce equipment from an acid resistant steel for the food processing industry. Main products are storage tanks, mixers and containers for breweries and producers of chemicals, as well as, containers used for internal transportation by meat processing industry. Armature, often non-typical, used for size manufacturers and assembly have consituted a supplementary production
New opportunities for technology implementation have arisen after receiving a license for producing high-pressure equipment from the Office of Technical Supervision. High-pressure tanks for brewing industry were constructed which together former experience resulted in manufacturing a complete small brewery including technology and start up. At the same time production for the dairy industry was continued, among the other, crystallisation containers, culture incubation tanks, tanks for cream etc.

Next stage of our company development was to begin producing tanks and reactors for pharmaceutical industry meeting the industry GSP requirements equipped with control measure instruments.
In 1996 "KATES" moved to its own facilities of 2000 square meters. Thanks to the new site possible to start producing large size tanks of over 100 000 litres of capacity. Buyers of such large pieces of equipment were breweries, dairy, food and fruit and vegetables processing plants.

Current scope of activities run by "KATES" is rather wide and goes from design and manufacturing to assembly and services related to production of equipment for food processing, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
